The name General Folders draws inspiration from industry giants like GE and GM. The term folders is a nod to the role of folders in the management of data in computers.

Our origins trace back to an apartment in Hayes Valley. After touring a number of WeWork locations, we've settled at SDSU to join Techstars.

We have the privilege of being supported by investors who are experienced in building leading infrastructure, B2B SaaS, and multi-national corporations.
